Terms
Vehicle inspection service terms
Effective 2026-09-02. These terms describe the scope customers acknowledge during booking.
Service scope
AutoScope provides a visual and functional condition inspection of accessible vehicle components using the selected package and the conditions available at the appointment.
Access and seller permission
The customer is responsible for accurate seller and location information and for confirming that the seller has approved the inspection. Seller cooperation, keys, safe access, and permission are required for affected checks.
Inspection limitations
The inspection does not include dismantling, destructive testing, laboratory analysis, a title search, an emissions certification, or a guarantee that every hidden defect will be found. Road testing occurs only when authorized and safe.
Advisory recommendation, not a warranty
The report may include a condition score and buy, negotiate, or walk-away recommendation based on observed findings. It is not a warranty, insurance policy, certified appraisal, repair authorization, or guarantee of future performance. The customer remains responsible for the purchase decision and may seek additional specialist diagnosis.
Customer-provided information
The customer confirms that submitted booking information is accurate to the best of their knowledge and authorizes AutoScope to use it for seller coordination, scheduling, payment, inspection, and report delivery.
Payment and completion
Prices are calculated by the server from the selected package and add-ons and collected through Stripe. A booking is not treated as paid until AutoScope receives a verified payment event.
Final business terms needed
The business must have these terms reviewed for its jurisdiction and add the legal entity, governing law, dispute process, and any liability cap before public launch.
