Is AutoScope connected to a dealership or seller?
No. AutoScope is presented as an independent inspection service. The customer provides the seller and listing details so the inspection can be coordinated.
What does the inspection cover?
The technician workflow includes separate checks for exterior body panels, each tire and wheel position, front and rear brakes, major under-hood components and fluids, oil leaks, interior lights and functions, safety items, and road-test behavior.
Will every vehicle receive a road test?
Only when the seller permits it and the technician determines that vehicle, access, weather, and road conditions make it safe. Any unavailable checks should be documented in the report.
Is this a warranty or guarantee?
No. The report records observed condition at a specific time. It cannot guarantee hidden conditions, title history, future performance, or that a component will not fail later.
How do I receive the report?
Your confirmation includes a private tracking link. When the inspection is completed, that page provides the secure report containing the summary, notes, findings, and available photos.
Can I download the report?
Yes. The completed web report includes a print or save-as-PDF action. Browser print controls create the PDF on your device without exposing a permanent public file URL.
How are payments handled?
Stripe Checkout collects card details. AutoScope does not place payment credentials in the app or browser, and the job is marked paid only after a signature-verified Stripe event.
Can I cancel or change the appointment?
Contact AutoScope as soon as possible. Rescheduling depends on technician availability. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe; review the cancellation page for the current process.
